About Me

I am a multimedia artist with 15+ years of experience specializing in the current trends in animation, motion graphics, graphic design, web design and development, video production and illustration.

While based in Houston, Texas my work has been seen around the world, including being projected on the Times Square Jumbotron, played in the palace of Versailles and other cultural heritage locations, broadcast on national television, and in theaters across the United States. I have worked with a variety of world renowned people and organizations including, but not limited to, the National Geographic Society, Eurosports, The United Nations, Dr. Zahi Hawass, and the World Sky Race.

I graduated from The Art Institute of Houston in 2005 with a degree in Animation Art & Design and was promptly employeed as a general animator at Kashat Productions, where I worked on mutliple feature films. In 2006, I became a clean-up animator at Tricked-Out Toons in Tomball, Texas. While at Tricked-Out Toons, I was able to hone my character animation/acting and modeling and worked my way up to Lead Animator on their children’s animated series, Cool Rules.

In 2007, I was employeed at the multimedia company, Omnipulse Media, where I worked along side many talented artists in multiple areas and was able to broaden my skillsets to Web Design & Production and further advance my Graphic Design and Video Production. During 2008, Omnipulse established their animation studio division, Omnipulse Entertainment. During this time, Omnipulse made a full length animated movie, "The Last Flight of the Champion (2013)" that was released in theaters across the United States. As Lead Animator of “Champion”, I lead and trained art teams in all areas of the film while honing my own animation and management skills.

After we wrapped “The Last Flight of the Champion” in 2012, I pursued a career as a freelance multimedia artist. Furthermore, I co-founded The Phoenix Digital Group with my business partner, Eric Ewing. The Phoenix Digital Group, or PNX Digital, was founded as an animation company but shifted focus to video game development following the release of our first mobile game, “AirBoy,” in late 2014. “AirBoy” was released on iOS and Android devices. In 2016, I started PixelDog, a “one stop shop” multimedia and marketing company. As owner of PixelDog I have been able to work on a broad range of media including video production and effects for music videos, 3d animations for oil & gas companies, graphic designs for non-profits, and web productions for large and small businesses.
